I was with my brother (demo), and we were just driving around on a highway going to a local mall, and I hit 110 miles an hour. I imagine I could have gone a bit faster, but I didnt want to kill me or my brother. My car was beginning to rattle.

Just read the part about proving it. It was my buddy's 96' GTI VR6 on a long stretch of highway. I wasn't driving of course, that car's his baby, but I think once you're moving at 170mph it's worth mentioning no matter who was at the wheel.
That's pretty damn fast! I have been in the car with a friend driving 125, although 110 was more than enough for me.
After seeing a few pretty horrifc car accidents, I tend to stick around a 75, with a maximum of 85 - and that's still dangerous considering I have like no tread on my tires.
110-115 on the highway going to ft.walton, FL one day when I used to live down there.
140 kmh. In my brothers BMW 318iS. Beautiful ride and the car wasnt even getting rattly. Dont kno how fast that was in miles but i was sweatin. I was on a long stretch of road going down the east coast of Aus.

7 miles an hour isnt that scary lol, I go that all the time (usually around 80 at all times), when driving on the highway.
Speeds of 90+ start to scare me, I wont go above 110.
My dad's 745Li going to MIA on the Florida Turnpike he hit 130 mph and there was a Mercedes-Benz CLS pacing with us. That's old man racing. LoL. But I have a permit and the fastest I've driven is 60 mph.

i think around 110, it was in my dads truck when we tryed to catch up to a ferrari...Didnt quite work so well...
In my vett, it feels like your doing about 150 but your really only going at an increasing 45, fast increasing...

Wrapped it around a tree going 110MPH+ and died 6 months later after he rolled over in bed and snapped the oxygen line. So unless it's on a track, be carefull where you drive like that. ;)Quote:

fastest i've hit was 95-100 mph my bro's nissan altima heading to work...running a bit late...plus it was kinda downhill so that might explain it. but i normally drive 75-85 mph

Um... The fastest I usually go is about 140km/h. I hit that in a Chevrolet Corsica! Yeah, or when I'm driving my truck, V8 2001 Dodge Dakota, I can get to 140 on the road that I take just before I turn onto my girlfriends road.. It's only about a km and a half straight away...but I get up to 140 anyways ;)
God damn there's some really nice cars here (745 and the Benz). On the highway you can pull pretty fast speeds, but on the highways around chicago there is a hella' lot of traffic.
When you start to get farther away from cities you can easily hit higher speeds.
Lmao...Fastest i've gone is probably 130KM/h I Was with a pastor from out church (he is cool as dirt) His Acura which is dubbed out...Some guy wanted to race...Yeh was fun...Meh

A C55 AMG is cool, my freind got one as his first car. His dad owns a real estate company and buys and sells alot of homes on the beach. It's so nice, but I rather have an M3. ;)
Id much rather have the C55 AMG. I have a 325i Beamer, and i'm not a huge fan of the entire thing. M3's are way overpriced (considering its like 45-50k starting for them), along with all beamers. A damn 325 starts at 29k~, and they only have 180 horsepower. Weaksauce.
my C55 has a top speed of 300KM/h (180-190mph i guess)
the CLK AMG GTR has a 400KM/h lol

I was driving around with my mother yesterday, helping her map out a road rally route for her work. We were on all sorts of weird windy back roads. It was great. I was doing 60mph around some nice winding turns. I had a blast. 60mph wouldn't normally be impressive, except it was in my 91' corsica, which is falling apart. The shocks squeak whenever you hit a bump. I couldn't believe it held the road as well as it did.
LOL! Funny you say that, me and a friend had a little rally race of our own around where we live, he has an early 90's corsica as well. Theres a dirt road that leads to more dirt roads that they plan to put a sub-division in. So it makes for some decent off-road fun. We were just screwin around though, not REALLY racing, suprised how well my little escort did as well lmfao. Easy handling, I don't think i took any turns at 60MPH though.. lol. Never seen a hubcap fly like that before in my life either.

I haven't really driven before, but when I went out with Taco that night, it did not even seem like we were going that fast. It probably was because of the fact that it was night time, and you really could not see anything around you.
Well my dad picked me up from my friends house the other day,. Done 100 or so on the dual carriage way, it's scarier if you accelarate quick, and he went crazy after the roudnabout, just before the carriage way, never been that fast on a corner before. Oh, and in my uncle's mr2, about 110 on a wet country lane ^_^
