The lighting looks great haha.
It is a very human picture, it just looks very "real" which is always good.
heh, thanks. That was what i was going for i wanted amazing quality and good depth. I think i did well on this shot. Its one of my better portraits i think.
Really great light!
You just got some kinda issues around the elbow, some black lines.
You also got some glow around your hair, Jesus?
The bg is really calm, almost feels like your above the clouds.
That's a given DA ID ;)
Very Nice Lighting lol
If only i could do cool photoographyyy:(
lighting is definitely nice, my biggest complaint is that when you title it neck-pain, i expect to see alittle more agony or pain on his face.
goodjob though mate, i love the quality of your pictures
Please, if you're going to edit heavily make it look smooth and realistic. You've got haloing all over the place, around the ear and the elbow looks pretty damn rough and the background has strange streaks. It looks like you cut out the person and slapped them on another image. The lighting itself is great (person is a little overexposed but it's no biggie) but you need to work on your editing or leave the image more natural.
while i thank you for your honest critique eleventee, i must say it really doesn't pertain that much.
Had this actually been for something important then yeah i would obviously have spent more time on it. The haloing is some painting i added to just quickly blend it in. ANd i painted that background in because this picture was shot in my bedrrom, and i didnt like the look of the bed/night stand behind him.
So while i may have changed out the background i don't think i really edited that heavily, in fact i did almost no editing at all with the exception of the BG and the painting.
Thanks though.
The background and haloing is the editing I'm talking about, I don't just mean contrast or colour when using the word editing. You always use the same excuse of "if it was something important..." or "I just did it quickly" on all of your photos, but each one has similar faults with the editing. Take some more time over what you do and practice getting things looking like they should, don't rush it all.
well usually i respect your comments a ton, but i disagree. I use that excuse because its true> if it was important i would spend time on it, most of these are quick hobby shots to try something out or to just goof around; and if you disagree with that, who are you to judge what i feel is and is not important. AND furthermore i don't agree on that, i think a lot of them have seperate issues: angles, backgrounds, editing etc.
This weekend when i have a band shoot, something that IS important i will spend sufficient time on it, because it is important..
I try to take criticism in a good way, especailly when I KNOW you are trying to help, but you are wrong.
Why are you looking handsome in this one? NON ON O You are supposed to be chubby.... and cute...
I always love the photographs taken in natural light, you need no editing in it. I think imo you went a little overboard with two light sources. Try to do with simple natural light source. It works awesome. Yesterday i was watching dylan cole's photography tips. He explained how portraits look better when they have better natural light + are stamped near the power points.
