i also like the reflection at the bottom, it gives a nice touch without distracting to much.

really like the purple behind the sprite, i think without it the sprite would have been lost in the effects. right side bg loks a bit weird thought imo, maybe make the canvas smaller.

you could try and change the left side to abit lighter so the sig would go from darker on one side to lighter on the other. But its good as it is aswell.

Yeah the purple part sure serves the render well ^u^

I would not like to make it smaller and I were going for two different backgrounds on each side, thats why one of them may look odd.
