New wallpaper.

I saw this render and i fell in love with it, so i had to make a wallpaper for it. I hope you'll enjoy! Please add some comments and critque.

Well it was the silver samurai, kinda ment to be silver. I will make a colored v ersion though :D

idk if i like the blue so much..maybe lower the brightness and raise the contrast a tad. Anyways, did you use juicy's blending a render technique? It doesnt look bad it just seems like u did cuz of how it's feathered at the shoulders and other places and such.

If you could color that like as in multicolored, I'd love you for life. Im not gay. Had to say that. Sorry. Seriously though Silver armor, with red accents.. mmm... tasty!

BG is to busy and could use more depth as well as less repetitive brushing, the render is blended perfectly but I don't like how you desaturated it, the whole thing would've looked better if you used diffrent colors which match the samurai, don't completley desaturate the render, had a more clearer focal point..and well thats about it...hope you dont take this offensive this is just to help you out for next time you make a WP or something.

i DEF like the silver one more, the blue one lacks contrast, and is too bright...
Background is nice, although personally i hate really crowded WP bg's...
A logo might look good on the right to fill the bg, instead of the brushing...
Also, why are most of the WP i see so small?? you guys really still work with 800x600?

multicoloring this render would be awesome, some silver metal stuff, red ribbons&finishings and a brown cloth...

Need to have different colours to give more contrast and depth, try adding a gradient on top with vivid colours, its a common but effective technique:

Also you could try inverting the render to really give it that silver effect, obviosuly you can do more with it than me because you have the original psd. so there is no excuse lol.

Or try distorting it in some way;

Using some of those techinques you can turn repetitive into unique. I have millions more techniques to show but dont wanna fill the page with pics.

yeah, me too kinda cause ya cant see it, but the third is really good - even tho hes black :)

2nd one has very intense colours. It fits the pose of the samurai. Like rage boiling up, the inverse looking colours at the head are like an aura of concentration before striking...
(yeah, i know, too much imagination here :lol: )

in theory it could of looked cool , but u just made a mess of it sorry

my only true complaint is that your brushing is vvery repetitive, otherwise, good job.

meh, its ok, but i dont really like it. It is all just premade brushes arranged by you. If you made everything in that exept the render by yourself than i would like it more.
