Been away since '07 but I'm back with a vengeance.

Starting a graphic design course soon and I need a portfolio put together for it. This is one of the pieces in my portfolio.

I'm looking for some heavy criticism because I'm using these for school, so don't hold back your nasty comments. I want as much criticism as possible and I want you to be like that shitty teacher everyone had when they were little. Mark all my works with ridiculous expectations.

Sorry dude, don't like it. This looks very messy and really bright down near the bottom which causes a focal distraction. You need to work on the smudging near the top as it looks very low quality. Also, the logo in the bottom left corner is a little distracting and isn't really needed.

The yellow dot at the top is from filters and effects being applied over one of the lights from the lens flare at the bottom.

it's fuckin shittttt! :p na jk man, haha. when doing abstract pieces, try not to give it a symmetrical effect, but rather go for a nice composition, as it can make or break an abstract a lot of te time. Work on colour choice, it's looking really dull and desaturated atm. I would recommend downloading adobe kuler to help with colour combos. the light source is really distracting here, also it's looking really chaotic at the bottom, I'm not really sure where to look. as for the smudging it needs to be cleaned up. although the general 3d work is well done, just work heavily on your postwork:)

Just a local college here in Newfoundland Canada. It's CONA or College Of The North Atlantic. They have a killer graphic design program. I was in the classroom today asking the prof about my application and if I was on the right track, and they have brand new Mac Pro's with the 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" processor. I can't waitt to study there. The prof seems like he's a total stoner too haha.
