very cool and easy to follow tut, thanks for sharing, will post an outcome :)
Thanks :D
nice Domino :) i will def work on this :)
np guys, and I always use my right hand to cut out with, and left hand on Ctrl Z to back up if I make a mistake or cut the wrong thing out. Ctrl+Alt+Z is handy also if you make like more than one mistake and have to undo quickly. Practice makes perfect, it takes a few times to get it down fast. Hair is tricky, if you can't do hair, just shape the hair to look presentable. Steer clear of stocks with massive amounts of hair if you can, its too time consuming and is hard to finish.
Nice, but I dont have enough patience XD
Does this mean that if you cut the picture out by completing the tutorial, you can paste it into a signature or on a background without getting black / white / whatever background it would have? (I dont know if I explained it well enough x.x )
thx for the share
Yes, that's what the tutorial is for. To cut out images and use them for signatures, wallpapers etc.
Note that if you were to cut out an image and wanted to save it and use it later, you have to save it as a .png file. Otherwise the transparency won't be preserved and you'll just have a white background around your image again.
This looks more difficult than use anchor points.
Ahh, thank you very much. I have a few pictures I've been saving for something like this. That I've taken out of a game and wanted to make into a signature, but after cutting the images off their background they became either on white (after saving) or the corners, sides, etc. werent smooth enough or had pieces of background in them.
(man my posts look naked hence no signature)
Make sure you save them with a .png file extension Hakkz. Jpegs don't support transparency. GIFs do but they have a limited set of colors.
Really we should be teaching noobs to use the pentool to get the best cut possible
Well I was referring directly to Hakkz post, which came after yours, not handing out general advice.
