1 thing though....
stop with the fading borders they're horrible
when you finish a tag go to Select>All on a new layer and then go to Edit>stroke and choose a 1-3 px black or white border.....

LOL thats what ive been doing, tho this one was purple not black but it always seems to come out faded, i'll rework it with a new border and post the result

I think that's the best work I've seen from you so far. :D I would have picked a better fractal though.

its the only one i had that even remotely matched the main color lol, and even then i had to adjust the colors to match.

Great work. Maybe you should rewrite the tutorial. :P The background is a tad boring, but the foreground is extremely attractive.

I usually do that too with tuts. Regardless, it's a pretty nice sig, man.

well i found my end result to dark so i added a hue/saturation adjustment layer with +14 lightness, +14 hue to make it a little green (i like green :P), and -7 desaturation.

idk why but i decided to erase the border from the top and bottoms :P

Not bad. I don't really like the colors though, but that is personal preference. It could use some more smudging and you could probably duplicate the fractal and move it so it looks thicker. The text isn't too bad but I don't like the color too much.

followed it again and tried to take in some of your advice, but this time i used a render with a bit more of a horizontal flow.

i outlined the text with a 1px black stroke to make it stand out more.

The color of the render doesn't go to well with the fractal. You shouldn't smudge the gun either. This isn't too bad though. I like the Clank one more.

yeah i tried to recolor the fractal (i wanted to use a different one but i'm terrible at finding C4D renders (it's a c4d render right?)), but it looked really bad. i tried to make it like a grey-blue color... didnt work :P

Well fractals are different than C4D's but sometimes they accomplish a similar effect. No C4Ds were used in this one.

well this is what i came up with not so good but I'm a little rusty...(haven't used photoshop for over 2 months... :( )
