This took me around half hour, i decided to do something moving to the viewer. The brushing was quite hard to do with perspective, so i used alot of light, and contrast between the render and energy buzzing in the distant centre.

The brushes were entirely made by Shadow Gfx. Using two of his brushpacks, was my challenge. The ones i used were, the newest one, 12 i think. And brush pack 8, the abstract set. I got the name from browsing the net while i was making it, and seeing the word 'void' on the gfxvoid internet tab.

Thanks for viewing, i'll be releasing a high contrast version, with a cartoony feel soon. Comments? I would like very heavy critique on this, with in detail opinions. Thank you.

What can I say? Thats wonderful! I Love how you brushed it, It makes it appear to be blowing in the wind. The leaves or similar leaves look like they are red hot. Only thing i would change is the black spots. It looks good and all but doesn't go well with the overall piece. I Give that a 9.9/10

no offense... but i dont really like it, colors dont flow... and the brushings dont look like much to me... i dont know what went wrong... its just not got anthing that makes it stand out..

There is black spots around the whole picture. Some spots don't have them. I Think it doesnt flow nicely with the whole theme of it.

Hmm i see. Well it was meant to have alot of contrast, but maybe different colours wasn't the way to go. If i redone the colours would it have a better feel?

oh and another thing, the brushing doesnt really cover the pic, it goes over it - covering is bad but thats worse, you should try just "lighting" the render, insted of random brushes in the bg

Ok thanks, i'll work on that in my next peice. Although, i done that , so that i could use the fractals around the edges of the light for a more alive feel.

You're getting better, but there's a lot wrong with this piece. You did a great job of brushing OVER the render in some spots to give it a feeling of depth. But then you brushed over a part that looks closer(center near the bottom) which confuses the eye. The colors clash and theres a little too much going on. There are parts where its awesome but you just used too many fractals. They arent supposed to be used out there in space. You are improving, keep working on it.

Thanks. I've just started doing lighting instead now, and i feel i do that alot better. And maybe i could brush just a bit instead of all brushing.

It looks good, but was that a premade render (I may have misread, sorry). The brushing looks pretty nice. Did you do the colorizing and brushing effects to the render? The background looks pretty good and ghostly.

I really dislike the font selection you used. Overall, its pretty good. 6/10
