And my day will go down the drain in a couple hours when I go to work. I have to work a concert for Slayer, Megadeath, and Testament. I don't even know who they are but I'm already not liking the sound of it. I hope it's not some hardcore heavy metal bullshit.

But as promised, the CnC. What's the spikes going through him? Was that part of the render or you added it? Cuz I like that a lot. Should add some of his green blood oozing out of the wounds. I was about to say it doesn't look complete but then I reread your OP and saw you mentioned that already. I think it lacks the depth that your current signature h as. Maybe some more darkness in the background.

Me, I like hip-hop, but to go to a metal show with that line up, I would slap the pope. And man, how old are you? How do you not know any of those? Those are some of the biggest names in metal.

Don't like either of the new versions as much as the original. I'd stick with trying some smudging type ish, or more of the kind of effects you already had going. I'd try putting a little something in front of him though, so the stock doesn't feel so pasted on. Really good start though, I like it so far.

Vicious Zen: I mainly listen to rap (real rap, not the radio crap), but I still listen to a lot of other stuff. But heavy metal just isn't for me. Just like rap isn't for some people. I'm 20, but I could be 40 and probably still not know who they are. Its just not my style. Its like me asking you if you know the biggest names in Folk music. Of course you don't (and neither do I lol) because you don't listen to that type of music, so why would you?

But actually it wasn't TOO bad. Although my eardrums are shot. Those white people go crazy haha. I was working security but no way in hell was I about to get in the middle of the mosh pit to stop it. Some guy got dropped on his neck though and he was unconscious. Don't know what happened to him. I got burned with a cigarette too. Hurt like fuck. But nah, I would probably go to that same concert if someone bought me the ticket, definitely wouldn't spend my money on it though.
