Yes...I'm back..somewhat anyways..

Ok, I've been fiddeling with Illustrator 10 some more and came out with this..over a period of around 3 days I would say..no yet finished though...don't really know if I should do anything with the face of the character or not....suggestions wanted..

What is it? I can't even read the text :P. Maybe work more with tracing humans and stuff till you can make a good silhouette.

The text says 'Marvital Bluist' and what do you mean by a good silhouette?

you know an outline of a person or object..not a handdrawn cartoon or somthin...and id try and make somthin diff is all its kinda plain

As of now, i do not like it. Is that surposed to be a lady mixed with a ball piont pen. Well.......... IMO its bad.

I really don't like it. I can understand that you were going for that simple art effect. where it looks like it was done by a kid. but this doesn't look like that, it looks like it was a beginners attempt, and it shows through pretty obviously. in my oppinion, this doesn't belong in this forum.

OK, no offense, but that doesn't belong in here at all. It's pretty bad. Text is hard to read and looks bad in general. The logo part on the right is just weird. It's not anything I would consider to have experience on it. I know you can do a better job.

So your basically saying that if I put it in the 'Digital Art thread' it would get different critique if at all any?! I don't see the point of this 'special thread' if it doesn't give you any better..

dude don't leave just because somebody said something bad about one of your pieces. Try again man. Seriously. This isn't your best piece but i've seen you do amazing stuff, keep tryin man, keep trying.

ummmmmm it's ok don't look much like a logo but needs more work, but looks like a simple shyt, but good job coloring it though

p.s. don't be mad just cause they're giving honest comments and critiques

this forum is for exceptional artwork, and people that want to recieve very intense critiques and comments. If you don't like the response you get then you shouldn't post work here. This belongs in the design/interface forums or digital art forums. This is not an advanced peice, and I find it to be beyond repair.

If you're that upset from a couple of harsh comments on a web forum then you should seriously reconsider starting a graphic design career. Graphic Design is a harsh field with a lot of brutal feedback. I'm sorry your leaving, but I'm not sorry for what I said. I was truthful and honest, which is what this forum is supposed to be about.
