1st vector

1st time trying to make a vector took me about about 2 hours unfinished and i know it sucks :/

did you use that water filter and then pentooled from that? a good idea is to make your shapes smoother and also create like a thousand different shape layers :) ehm best way of showing you what i mean is by using one of my own unfinished works.

as you see all my shapes or almost everone is smooth and there is like a ton of different layes around 20 just for the shoulder or even more. I know it take ages but ;S :) And also colour isnt a matter thats always changeable :) keep up the practise :)

don't use a filter, just work it out with the pentool

work on blending your shades!! use the pen tool, def dont use filters and stuff, check out my vector PSD http://www.gfxvoid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64782, (yes this vector was made in photoshop...haha), that might help a bit! keep working at it! :)

I didn't use a water filter for it, only the smooth filter in order to do the shading/highlights.
