Tbh mate, its a smudge layer, a bit of splatter brushes and thats it. The splatter brushes ruin the flow, you need to do more on this colourwise

no spartan thats not just it you forget the c4d clip masks the colour adjustments the lighting bluring and the overall look mate, im taking this to heart and i just feel that everything i do you put me down for, but anyways how can i do more with it colour wise?

I dont, i just dont like this, it all looks out of place

I liked your other iron man tag better.

I did like this sig on first glance. But then I wondered why you have the smudging in there? Why is his arm smudged into the sky? I thought smudging was for blending. It looks more like a dust cloud behind him or some exhaust fumes he farted out. The splatter also has a random feel to it.

i think that the bg could be blended better with the foreground, lighting could be improved, I like the style and it looks like you put a lot of work into it but forgot some of the basics. kiu

Somehow I can't see this render/stock without thinking of zole's tag... I'm not a big fan of this tho, the splatters go against the flow.
