WOAH. WOAH, mate.
Relax on the splatters. Like really, lol.
Also, the splatter colors don't even match the render.
I can't even see a proper BG, it just looks like spammed splatters.
The text just looks thrown on to.
Sorry man, not liking this one, I'd go back a really fix it up :).
Yeah. Relax on the splatter a little, man. A little can work good, but it's your entire sig. When you do something like that it allows for no lighting or depth, just a flat image.
hmmm I tried for depth but oh well cant do well every time
I actually like the splatters.
You know if you work on the brush settings and try something new you can get loadsa awesome textures
I don't like the text much.Try to keep it simple always.
A few parts are over-blurred.try adding more elements to the sig.Might make it look better
You've matched the dark colored head with a dark bg.Good job.Blending is nice.
Again,When I take a first look at the sigl.I find it to be kind of cool, classy. The text is the one which kinda spoils it.
Very Good attempt!
try stick with what blends with your focal point as well that colors sticks out way too much and draws away from your focal verry distracting to me looks like u had a nice attempt with the effects but you choice of colors ruins it for me and the text is way too bi and also not blended in as it should .. try some diffrent collors and smudging in some layers . gl and kiu gradiants might work but i would just use a new layer and click ctrl u and mess with colors that way and try a few photo filters , warm or cool warm i think be best bet stay on default .
i like integration perfect!! colors perfect.. good concept.. good work kiu
fix the colours, other then the sig is cool
Looks sick to me. I see plenty of depth. Don't know what the others are talking about.
I think it looks pretty good, and I really don't see what the others are talking about either. If you walk outside and stand in front of a tree, chances are the colors of the clothes your wearing aren't going to match the background. The only gripe I have is the text...
It does look like you put it there as an afterthough :D KIU though, good jobbeh
no it's not but dosnt really fit either heres what i was trying to say iwen and took liberty to make this for u i hope u don't mind not sure it be helpfull or not i just wanted to show ya what i did on colors see my end result sing your tag u have now
here goes . http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/1949/cnctut.png
i believe if you made it look some what like a dark symbiot with the splatters it would make it an awesome piece of work!
its not bad, but it misses depth , light source :S text is bit too big, and try maybe add another text, 2 of them always looks great ;)
good job!
Must every sig in the world exhibit depth and great lighting? Not every sig is meant to be the Mona Lisa of the signature world. Not every sig has to use the same artistic techniques that you guys suggest on every single one that is posted on this forum. He likes it the way it is. I like it the way it is. Sirenzo, you didn't enhance his sig, you outputted something completely different which in my opinion is inferior to the original.
I understand the concept of constructive criticism, but I find it all to be so repetitive on this forum. The same people bitching about a light source being off don't even have one placed correctly in their own sigs. I see so many people putting down someone's artwork for "lack of depth", yet all these would-be professionals just grab a blur tool and blur the hell out of their empty space and think "Voila! Depth!"
All I'm saying is, not every sig has to be held to the same standard, because not every sig is trying to accomplish the same outcome. And before some of you go throwing around terms like depth, lighting, and blending, make sure you actually know how to effectively utilize it yourself, and that you're not just repeating the same criticism you received on your last sig.
Cheers.
Depth and lightin cerntainly is not required for all signatures, afther all theyre not photo's. However depth should be present if the focal does stand out enough by itself for example. Also putting a render thats lit up in front of a dark background without adding a lightsource looks pretty awkward aswell most of the time. So I partially agree with you, it's not always neccecary but in some cases it just is.
