indeed dont be cheap with your camera lol
some people think they can get a regular consumer camera and think
they can do professional photography. so save save save lol.
thats my very first tip for anybody looking to get into it
i have the Nikon d90 which is a semi pro camera which ran me $1300
when i bought it.
-

Oh yeah, dont get me wrong i get that, but would have been cool for you to show us some other, more exciting stuff :)
-
hmmmm like club events? dj battles? more photos of nicki minaj perhaps?
-
:L no i mean like photos of more interesting subjects, rather than people. :)
-
OooooOooooooOooOo I see what u mean

ok, some are really good clicks, but there will be an advice i would like to give, i think you use too much of burn or doedge tools, maybe a lill exposure too. Try using B/C to get the tone right, the great thing about it is that you dont lose the quality. Another thing will be do lill bit of layer painting on skin's, imo thats a basic of professional photography.
and how about trying to get a little composition when doing client jobs. I will say 1st and 3rd are the worst out of this collection, you see they cut at weird angles and there is no interesting composition there. 1st would have been good if only it would cut like that :)
*Edit*
7th and 8th will be bad examples too, the blue tint over powers the photograph and tells my eyes not to look at it. You know its a natural reaction.
in the 8th the black burnt outline around the guy is too obvious that you either burned it or painted it. try to blend it it. Both clicks are good, but it went down in post processing.
i hope you take it constructively :P

thanks for your input but no editing was done to the photos
everything in the photos taken where shot in manual mode with different
apertures and shutter speeds. and the way the light was bouncing off of drake and rick ross was causing that effect in the smoke machine at the concert to make it look like there was an outline.
and the blue tint was from the blue lights that had went passed her as nicki was performing.
o yeah and with the first photo i know exactly what you mean about his arm being cut off. i had other photographers tell me the same but i kept it because it was from my very first paid photo shoot i did.
and skin painting i will mainly do for upcoming model photography but i wont do it on men because most of them are rappers going out for editorials in hip hop magazines. i remove marks, bumps and all but for the males i keep the gritty-ness.
thank you for your input :)
