i was making an ice one but it made my comp crash
hmmm nice stuff der tho i dunno what that could be usufull for..eh it also depends on how easy the program is to use on how i should rate...the images themself are ok...but some seem a tad un real...ex elysium has som kidna thin underwater that i didnt get
the elysium one just has a low water level, and you can see the bottom of the water cause the waters clear
and, its very hard to use
Terragen is an AMAZING program. I don't know if it's very hard to use, but it is pretty difficult to make something if you actually have something specific in mind (as opposed to just making random landscapes and seeing if they look cool heh)
I like them! But i think that the horizon is too sharp, it looks like a drop. Not sure how easy/hard it would be to just soften up that a bit :huh:

yeah the horizons have no real way of fixing :(
and redblaze, it is hard to get what you want, and rele hard to recreate, took ages to get the effect i wanted on "paradise"
ooh, nice job db, I'm don't know a thing about that prog. but I know that I like the water on these pictures =D and I think they all are cool, some better than the others. I would love to continue working on a picture like this (Paradise Isle), It's what I've been looking for a long time, someone to collab with =D interested ?

what i was actually gona try to do was make a volcano, then photnmanip/brush
just say a scene that you want and ill *try* to make it, its kinda hard

the thing I would like to do some kind of spacescene to one of your landscapescenes, that would be so cool. The look of the picture doesn't have to be that special, just try to make the mountains quite small, it would be good to have a quite big (wide) picture, not too high =) do you see what I want to creaTe ? thanks anyway

you eva seen alyn on dA - one of his best pieces is a volcano (in terragen) with loads of explosions and a space scene above.
what color do you want the:
land
sky
water
how hazey do you want it
how clear/reflective do you want the water to be

so, lets see. I'd like to do sometihng destruction-looking actually. Maybe like orange water or something ? like, if you have all the landscapes in one color, it all will look reflective and like disaster, but I'm not sure on how it all should look like. How strong is the color if you color the mountains for example ?. of course you can always come up with some of the things yourself, give me suggestions on what you want to do etc.
well... its not too strong - like red deserty if i amde in orange

Waw, they look very nice, there was some guy who was an elite at terragen, and he managed to form the water in the shape of a sort of hydra dragon coming out of the water, the dragon was made out of water, like some sort of god summoning it, it was well cool, i'll have to find it for ya.

he prolly an alpha tester for planetside, the new version (which is not available yet) can do hangover rocks, meaning you can have a tall tower then a thing coming outa the side, if youve ever used it wou will know you cant do that in tha current version
