I know she is not asian, but straw hats were mentioned earlier, and I thought it would look nice, and I do think it does.

i think a different color above the hat would look better...like orange or so...also maybe a black line on the neck would be good too...other than that its pretty nice ;)

I did try adding some definition to the chin, but it took away from the effect I was going for, so I opted to not. As for having a colour above the hat, I want the lips to be the focus, so that is why it is the only colour on here. I did make a quick 2.0 of it were I removed the top part of the circle, and think it looks good as well.
i think a different kinda hat would do either... not feeling this one. it looks like a farmers hat imo..

it's a really good logo :D I will totally be using it in my extracted images :D
It's very different and I dig the red lips !!! Your right about the no chin outline I think it's better that way, I'm not asian but if you ever came to my house you would see that my taste is asian inspired artwork and colour.
TY March it's a pretty sweet logo/gift !!! <3

I think if the hat had some definition or some sort of texture it would suit a bit more. But overall I mean it's pretty amazing as is.

Your welcome, Slave.
Let me go over a few things about this, for those of you who don't quite get it.
The hat: On tinychat, straw hats came up in the conversation, and I found a chance to use it in a sexy way. Yes, they are used by asian farmers, but also by people of all social positions, they are a good way of keeping the sun off of you. A baseball cap and crossed arms would ruin the sexiness of the logo, and that was my main goal.
About detail/colour: When I design a logo, I think of impact, and scaleability. I know slave will probably not be making a huge version of this to put on a billboard, or small to put on some business cards, but just because she won't, doesn't mean I will just ignore some of the things I think of, when designing a logo. The detail suggested, textures, chin definition, hat definition, would take away from the over all effects. Keep It Simple Stupid, I live my the KISS rule. Start adding too much and each thing distracts from another, the hat is plain as to NOT draw too much attention too it, same with a chin outline. The focus is the woman, hiding most of her face but leaving her full, red lips visible. Also, adding an orange background, or gradient of orange into grey would also just add too much too it.
The best logos, to me, are the simple ones. Apple, Nike, Pepsi, etc.

Totally agree pet, and I know where the hat thing came from in convo cause I was the one who brought it up :P I was making fun of takken living in a bamboo hut with the roof shaped like those hats :P lol was a funny convo and it just goes to show that you pay attention to the most unique things and came out with a really creative idea. That is an artist mind in motion imo :)
