ILLUSIONAL POP-OUT
Bet you didn't see this one coming! This is all about creativity. This will be in sig form! It will have to create an "optical illusion". The Illusion itself does not have to "mind fuck" you. It can be something calm but makes you think. YOU determine if it is an illusion. If there are any concerns please contact one of us! For this round specifically, we recommend you turn in the sig early and ask if indeed it abides by the rules! REMEMBER, you have 1 adjustment per round; don't waste it! The sig must also have some sort of POP-OUT element in it. This will be one of the harder rounds. Please be innovative and original. Don't try that Black and White Circle. Try something new. Try incorporating patterns. This will test artistic talent and creativity!

When Voting, please note that we (the people running this tournament) will have already deemed the tag as use of illusion/pop-out and that they are acceptable to receive votes. Your job is to vote for the tag you like most, for whatever reason that may be

Was discussing with with the boys last night, we agree, if you use a pop-out form of say a hand coming out of the "tag walls" the size of your tags with hand coming out still has to be size max 450-250- 250-450

some of the best popouts I have seen are bigger than 450 x 250 so that there is room for the part that is sticking out to be fully outside of the walls. Is it only supposed to be a hand that is sticking out? seems kinda restrictive to make it 450 x 250 and still expect people to have something popping out of the sig. idk tho is that average size for a popout?

Talked it over with nathan, he seems to think it's plenty big enough xD

I myself am havign a hard time getting what I want to look good in a size like that, but hey >.< no one said this round would be easy :(

Optical illusion means that you see something wich you don't really understand right?
Well, if you make a pop-out tag you think that the thing that pops out, really comes out of the sig. But this isn't really true, cause everything is just flat. So if you make a pop-out tag, aren't you making an optical illusion at the same time then? I could be totally wrong tho but that's how I see it.

The Hidden tiger. First time i saw this i didnt notice at all. It didnt pop out. sometimes you havta create the popout factor

Im still a bit confused, Does it have to contain a pop out effect (hand comming out of a tag) and at the same time there must be a illusion in it?. or is like cs4pro said a hand comming out enough to complete the theme?

Yea I undertand you. An optical illusion isn't necessarily the same as a pop-out effect. But I think that a pop-out effect is an optical illusion. So if you create a pop-out effect you are creating an optical illusion at the same time.

but just giving an illusion of tiger strips spelling out soemthing isn't pop out, so thus, we say pop out and illusion.

Gaaf, any way you can make a pop out ( or look pop out) is what we are looking for. I used the hand coming out of the tag boarder becuase I have spoken to a lot of ppl and 2 ppl gave me that example xD

Edit we are still looking for illusion and pop out, but if you can make these two themes form one stable idea, it won't be turned down.

lol im not even sure wtf im gonna do for this now :P im just wasting time trying to figure it out plus working on vp battle lol due Thursday. hopefully i can think of something before the due date :P

I think this was our hardest battle, kinda happy it wasn't our first round xD
