TPS #1 The Poetry Slam

"The Poetry Slam" will be a bi-weekly poetry battle open to anyone on GFXVoid.
no Graphics skills are required to enter
Just a brain.

TPS #1 RULES:
. All poetry must be made by the user who submits the piece.
.No prewritten poetry allowed.
. Word limit will be 20 word minimum, max 200 word limit.
. (Optional) Size maximum for Background poetry display 1000x1200 pixels
. All poetry entered must follow the theme chosen for that week.
. You may interpret the theme however you want.
. One entry allowed per round! You can edit your entry one time
by sending Slave and DOMINO the revised version through pm.
. Do not vote for yourself.
. Plagiarizing will result in a Disqualification.
. You're not allowed post your poetry on the forum for critique before the poll goes up.
. Profane and inappropriate material may be subject to review by an admin
. All entries must be pm'ed to both Slave and DOMINO by 12 pm EMT day of deadline
no late entries please. You will have exactly 14 days to write a piece of poetry.

The first TPS theme will be chosen by me, winner will determine next theme.

The first theme will be Emotions (Love, Hate, Anger, Fear etc.)
Deadline: 4/19 by 12pm EMT
PM entry to Slave and DOMINO with title "TPS#1 entry" do not post entries here,
you can discuss theme, or ask questions here.
Start getting creative, voting poll will go up on 4/20

I think I shall participate! :) But don't think a bi-weekly comp is too much time? I've been in a poetry comp before with lesser activity than the Void's and we got a fair bit of contestants that would least ensure a good level of competition between members. Just givin' a thought.

hopefully 2 weeks is enough time to write at least 20 words that fit together.

if this goes smoothly and enough pple enter I will reduce the time to possibly every week, with all the other competitions on the void atm I figured giving 2 weeks to finish would be better.

you know it, Emotions seemed like a good theme idk, get to writing pple if you haven't done it before its ok just try something maybe it will get the creative juices flowin. :)
