LOL I think it's just a weird render that makes the claws like that. But this tag is umm...how to put this delicately, epic? Really like what you did here, the right side effects are a bit too dark compared with the rest of the tag IMO, but regardless, an awesome tag.

I don't like how the lines extend to his face and I think the claw coming out could have been better portrayed via a fading background possibly or maybe another part of him out of the render. I also think the effects are a bit dark.
