The diamond looks really awesome, but the pillow needs some work imo. The texture could use some work.
Also shouldn't there be like a little pit because of the weight of the diamond?

it should be.. but my pc could not handle the simulation of it..

I can not affect it.. maybe only if I will lower the number of reflections.. but i not sure.. thanks edwin.

I didn't really liked those metaball stuff you created but this one is simply amazing. Not just the concept and the execution, but the feeling that it gives. Amazing. Keep it up! ;)

it depends on settings of lighting, anti-aliasing and the reflections of objects.. but this one take.. hmm.. around 5-10 minutes

Because the diamond is so HQ the rest looks a tad LQ, good job tho mate

in first composition there was only diamond.. without pillow :> but nvm... thanks

pillow with a little more texture would make this just really realistic.

Agreed the pillow is the only thing "off" on this piece.

when I saw the title of the thread I had a image in mind of what you would have made, and this just blew that image out of the water, it looks like you took a frikin picture of a real diamond, that is fucking amazing dude I love it. kiu mio.
