I'd say lose the render.. it looks out of place. I like colours, and the "fision" is really nice.... the text is a little plain compared to the theories of fision.
if i make the text look exploded... it wouldn't be readable... also there is no render...
Yes there is. There's a girl smack dab in the middle. That's a render. And I didn't say explode the text..just don't make it as neat maybe. Just try different fonts. Maybe a Biohazard-esque font?

The render is from Xenosaga. The effects from that game go well with the bg image.
Well done
I thought it was "fusion" not "fision"... Ah well. I'm not to sure about the sig. I mean, I admire the background, but somthing doesnt seem right. Either way, congrats on the sig.

Agggh.... the text.... make it explody... and like... not as plain. The background looks awesome, but the text seems so bland compared to it. Nice sig tho, just change the text ^^
There's both. Fusion is putting particles/atoms/whatever together. Fision is ripping them apart.Quote:

I like it. Its sweet. Love the colours!
I like it, nice work mate...
i know what a render is but i am telling you i didn't put it in there... it's called photo manipulation... i brighten some areas, darken others, add some brushing and a color scheme based on the main colors of the pic... i just found that pic and i brushed on it and did what i just all said... i have done this on quite a few of my recent sigs....
Wtf are you talking about? 0_0 Stop defending yourself too, we are not bashing you, we are giving negatives on the sig, to help you improve. 0_o
Sig is actually kinda boring, same old thing you always do.
i am not defending myself... i am letting others know
Again I have to agree with bfg, your same old multicoloring with odd renders if getting kind of old. Your backgrounds are still nice, just try...something else.
how many gfx designers do you know that change their style with every sig they make?
i like allot. I think the render blends in the sig great
Well not every sig. You have made well over 20 sigs im sure in just this style in a row. I mean come on, try something else. And yes you are defending yourself, not LETTING OTHERS KNOW.Quote:

this took a harsh turn lol
try to stay on topic girls.
as far as this sig is concerned:
I think you could lose the "nuclear fision" text altogther and not lose anything from the sigs affect.
I dont think you can fairly call this a "photo manipulation" firstly because its not a photo, and secondly because I think all it is is a render overtop of a background... unless you've significantly changed that render somehow, its not a manipulation.
You could also probably make the sig a lot smaller by cutting out all the useless crap to the right of the render. it seems like unnecessary whitespace that could be removed without taking away from the sig.
ive noticed none of your sigs right now say "chemical" anywhere on them, are you making these for another forum or have you spontaniously changed your name to Hakha?
anyway, thats my 3 or 4 cents, do with it what you will, but from what ive seen in the past, odds are you aret gonna change it just cause someone else said you should ;)
cheers, tabz
It's not that graphic designers (i wouldn't call sig makers grahpic designers personally) change their style with every piece, but they use their own personal style to influence how they do things in different forms of art. If you look at any artist (a real artist and not a sig maker) something in all of their kinda ties it back to them and makes it their own. Also, real graphic designers are less closed-minded about what they create and pass over many different medians in art to become the best designers they can be.Quote:

Just try different things is all I'm saying. I got bored (and I'm sure others got bored) of seeing me produce the same thing over and over again, so I moved on to photomanipulation for awhile (Don't say your sig is a photomanipulation - it's a sig) then it was the same thing over and over again so I moved into photography (I guess it helped I bought a sexy new camera) and now to round myself out I'm moving more into traditional art - where I think everyone should actually begin.. I'm just ass-backwards. Just don't take us saying that your sigs are boring and repetitive as an insult, take it as a wakeup call that you should try something different.
when i try something different no1 likes it... so yeah... and about the 20 sigs in this style... no way have i done 20 sigs like this... only like 5-7... that's only 15-13 sigs away from your guess... and yes i am letting others know... you're just taking it the wrong way, and yes i do know that the right side doesn't fit in at all... others have told me that as well and just because it's a signature doens't mean it can't be a photo manip... a photo manip can be of any shape and size... there is no unwritten rule that states a photo manip must be xxx by xxx pixels or inches or whatever you use... and you dont have to alter the render itself to make it a manip... simply brushing over it with the right brushes and coloring it with the right colors and giving it a distinctive title that states what is going on is a photo manipulation
just let him keep doing what he's doing...no point in senselessly arguing over something that won't ever change. He wants to keep doing the same old thing, so let him. His skills will only stay there, " to each his own." Knock yourself out m8.
