Pink Sunset

Well, it's time for me to get a personal site. Or, it has been for a while now, but I haven't had the energy or inspiration to design one. I had today though.

The vector looking picture is NOT a vector. It is a photo taken by me and edited in photoshop. Everything made in photoshop and coded in notepad. The text is just Lorem Ipsum, just rubbish to fill the page with text for the moment.

I am pretty happy with the clean result, and this will most probably be my first skin that I'll use. Please comment! I hope number_43 will comment too.

i like it alot, but i sgguest even tho you take pictures, you do not use that pic (even tho i LOVE it) cause it doesnt fit in with you

I prefer these emotive stuff more than überflashy designs and such, so I actually think it does.

i ment it doesnt fit your type of art, if you started doing more like that, id like yor stuff even more

Ah well, it was very fun to make the design, so I will of course continue with similar stuff. That's already kinda planned. :D

I think the avator is not good. U'd better change it to any font that fit your site(and more stylized).

Huh? Avatar? You mean the header text? If you do, I won't change it, it's meant to be simple and an omg1337flashyüberfont would probably not look too good. Simple fonts often look more professional in clean designs than those "supercool" fonts.

yeah, on websites "always" use sans serif fonts, my fav is (prset) verdana and arial, and then (dled) brie light

Beautiful, I like the colors and the photomanip on the right.

I'm not liking the little 'pink box' sitting on the layout like that, all the way in the corner, it kinda disrupts the tranquility it otherwise posesses. But that's just imo, still some hawt stuff there!

I'd put it like 8 px above the bottom layer (the photomanip) and move it to the left 8 px also.

But that's just me :P

Very nice, the only thing is the headers and links could be done a little better. This looks like it would look nice in a flash site! If you wanna collaborate, i can help you integrate it into a flash site.
