Who was watching Carol when she performed the "experimental" C section on the walker? I think it was Michonne. Now that we are talking about her, who do you think her dead friends are? Family? Rumour has it as so.

Discuss. I'm interested in what you tossers think at this point.

I doubt it was the samurai chick, because they showed scenes from the next episode and her and that other chick were in a completely different place.

Anyway, no clue who was watching Carol. The next episode looked like it should be pretty good though, its gonna be about the sword chick and whatsherface.

We were all watching her. :P

I think it's Merle, another prisoner or a spy from the other city. I know Merle's supposed to come back this season, wouldn't surprise me if Merle found his way to the prison.

I read the graphic novels so I already know what is what, thing is with the show they are switching things up and making them a lot more exciting but the end result is always the same.

So I can't say, but, Merle does come back. Not that it's a spoiler since it was already shown in the previews.

So what did you guys think of that? Obviously it wasn't Merle watching Carole. I think too that we know what the purpose of Michonne's pets were. Protection. Also one is to assume she took them out because they were a heat score at the crashed chopper scene. As to WHO they were is still a bit of a mystery, but I'm going to assume they were related to Michonne in some way considering their skin color. (Although that can be debatable.)

I really enjoyed how they focused on the new cast and left the others totally out of it. The Governor is a great character and added very well to the plot. I do question the tanks shown at the end of the show with the heads. I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure two of them were Michonne's pets, and the one shown at the top of the display was for sure Lt. Welles.

What's your thoughts on the latest from the dead?

Ha, I knew merle was still alive, ever since he disappeared I always thought they'd bring him back eventually, and they did.

Anyway, yeah.. michonnes walkers were prolly for protection, but they were probably also related to her as well judging by the reaction she had when Andrea asked if she knew them. Exactly how they're related is still a mystery though.

I don't really like this new Governor guy tbh, seems like another Shane type of character. Taking unnecessary human lives. He thinks he's created this utopia and will try to protect it from potential threats by any means necessary, like how he took out all those national guard soldiers. He didn't want them taking control of his town. And the heads in the tanks just seem like trophies he's collecting, which just makes him all the less trustworthy.

Back to last weeks ep for a second though, Some say Rick is slowly turning into Shane as well, but I disagree. He's just fed up with everyone running off doing their own thing and getting themselves and others killed, so he isn't taking shit anymore. It ain't a democracy anymore, it's a Ricktatorship, haha. He had to kill that one prisoner with the gun, that guy basically sealed his own fate when he wouldn't listen to direction and tried getting rick killed by letting walkers jump him. The other guy shouldn't have ran like a dumbass and he might have been spared, so he deserved it too. So I think so far, Rick has been doing a good job of making the right decisions as well as leading the group in general.

As far as Michonne, I don't like her. I can't stand her and every second with her on the screen is nothing but awkward "angry" moments with a raging lesbian jealousy vibe. I would much rather watch Lori talk about family and how good of a mother she /was/ than watch Michonne on screen doing anything.

Also kind of pissed off at T-Dogg's situation, I get that the guy never really had any lines and he was always the "Church" type but that last thing was just kind of wrong. Alas his attitude throughout the entire series never changed.

They are just picking off characters now, with Lori and you know (no spoilers) will lead to Rick going insane which they basically showed in the preview

lol, Lori's dead. Carl shot her. Shit is crazy. Not something I was expecting so soon, but at the same time, not completely surprised. I'm wondering if they did that to please fans because of all the hate people have for her lmao, or if they just thought now would be a good time to off her, who knows. T-Dogg is dead too but tbh I kinda forgot he even existed until last nights ep lol, he wasn't really a main character.

Ricks gonna lose his shit next ep. Like Agi said, judging by next weeks preview he's gonna have some kind of mental breakdown lol. He probably regrets never getting around to working things out with Lori, thinks she died with him hating her or something, idk. Prolly wont be much action next week, just lots of drama instead.

Well I guess that's that until February 10th. Personally I think Rick's going to lose it, and Glenn will become the leader of the group.

Anyhow, I had a huge debate today with a buddy of mine regarding the so called death of Lori. He claims a bullet was found on the ground beside her body, when Carl shot her. His thing was, would the bullet not be in her, as opposed to beside her? Also, if I recall, we never actually saw Carl shoot her. I forget what episode it was, but if anyone has any thoughts or whatever, do tell. Do you think she is really dead, or is there some kind of twist here?

Bam, Rick isn't stable anymore.
Carl somehow got pretty badass.
The blonde girl wants Carls D.
The new big black guy is actually not bad, I already like him as a character.
The Gov. is awesome, like I can't get enough of that guy.
If Daryl dies I'm punching my screen and never watching TWD again.
Maryl might die saving Daryl.
Carl is going to kick Rick out of the leadership position, maybe temporary but it will happen.
Glenn will become the 2nd in command.

Now, someone else is going to get taken hostage. I don't know who or how but they might fail at saving Daryl and keep him as a bargaining chip. However considering how awesome the Gov. is they won't really bargain, they will only use the captive as a diversion plan to lead a full attack on the prison. I like the Gov's mind-state. He tossed Maryl away and gained the "insanity" of the town...they already want to see blood, it's kill or be killed now. So the show went from survival to war and survival which is what war is in the first place...except, zombies and humans Vs. like 3 dudes.

Syn, you had to of watched the upcoming episodes clip, SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER, clearly something happens at the zombie pit scene, they show smoke and gun fire so I am assuming rick and them went back, the new group is genius because they are trying to make up for all the members they have killed off.

Everyone here knows to not spoil the show for me (and they are pretty awesome about it, no dick moves at all) because I don't watch it on TV. I watch it on Sockshare or Putlocker, they don't show any commercials or previews. I'm just guessing here based on what is going on...so I take it I hit a few nails in the head?

On the rumors of lori being alive, no. In the behind the scenes they all gathered to watch sarah wayne callies perform lori's final scene, crying and stuff. Also, no reason for lori to be alive anyway.

Ok, so in episode 4 Lori gives birth to Judith. (Who should have being named Sophia in my opinion).Watch episode 5, about 30 minutes in. We see Rick in the jail, completley fucked. He appears to find where Carl shot Lori.

He then picks up a bullet off the ground. Where the hell did that bullet come from? If Carl did shoot Lori, would you not think that the bullet would be in her, and not on the ground? I would think that myself.

He then finds a walker slumped on the floor, puts a slug in it's mouth, and then proceeds to stab the thing over and over in it's fat, and maybe full stomach.

By that, one is lead to believe that the walker he found had just digested his wife.

Fine and dandy, but why did he find a bullet on the ground then? Why was it portrayed in such a way?

Unless he's having another one of his hallucinations, it doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm not a ballistics expert, or gun expert for that matter, but I'm pretty sure a 9mm or .45 (those being the more common calibers for handguns) would be a through and through wound at that distance, hence why the bullet would be on the floor. A .22 is the only caliber I'm aware of that that doesn't have enough power to continue going through once it enters. Obviously there's a lot of factors involved and its not impossible to survive a shot like that, but its highly unlikely and I think it was a through and through and Lori's dead and gone. Her body disappearing/possibly being eaten is just to fuck with us imo.


Oh and yeah, @ Wolvy; Carl's actually been pulling his own weight this season unlike the last 2 where he would just wander off and nearly get killed a million times like an idiot. He's actually contributing this time around lol.

The fact he wandered around for the first 2 seasons like an idiot just helped build up to this season, where it makes it all the more awesome that he's now a badass.

Also, yeah, lori is dead, I promise. Like I said before, the whole walking dead cast gathered around to watch her perform in final scene (real life) and she talks about leaving it and such on interviews. There's no reason to think she's alive other then false hope.

I just can't stand his cocky-ness, and Im still annoyed by his idiocy in the first episodes.

As far as Carl goes, think about what you're saying. If you were his age in his situation how would you behave? Same way he did in season 1 and 2. Now he's growing up so give the kid a break. He's gonna become a bad ass real quick.

No, This thread is one of very few that hasn't been spammed to death or shit talked in, all the replies have actually be made by people who enjoy the show and want to discuss their thoughts on what's happened or what they think will happen, so lets keep it that way...

I would also like to add that this last episode was crappy.

I can point out so many plot holes in the first scene alone that it bothers me that I can. Let us not even mention how everything played out with Maryl Vs Daryl. They set up this sick scenario with the Governor, they set up a hidden brotherly rivalry that could have ended in such an amazing way...and what did they do with it? They basically washed off the wax instead of rubbing it off. How can you build so much up to later crumble it down and focus on Rick losing his shit over a bitch that we ALL wanted dead? I mean, c'mon now.

They finally introduce a black guy with some lines and what happens? Lol, Rick plays the shit out of him. Yeah, let's lose our shit when we finally we a Debo in the team who isn't going to take our food, rape our women and is an asset to the team (smart, caring and has muscles).

And we lose Daryl first episode mid-season? You fuckin' kidding me. That guy is practically the reason why TWD isn't going downhill. We let Rick's shit slide the first season because of the survival element, then he started wearing his big boy pants and we were all like "Mhm, Rick's giving away lesser fucks than before" and then season 3 was like "LOL, Rick isn't giving anymore fucks" and then everything died down...

Well...I think tonight's crap was a bit better than last weeks crap, but not a lot. I know I did question Lori's death a while back, but guess what Rick? You're bitch is dead ok buddy? Get over it already.

I am really not liking how all these "ghosts, visions, apparitions" etc are being tossed around every episode. Same as the phone calls from not only Lori, but apparently from Shane too. WTF?

Rick needs to pull his shit together or I can see Glen taking over real soon. If I am not mistaken, in the comic books, he is replaced in a sense, by a "Committee" consisting of Glen, Herschel and himself. Maybe that is what it needs to happen.

As far as the prison goes, I think they should ditch it and take over Woodbury, losing Merle, and naturally taking Daryl back into the mix, as we know has already happened and was inevitable when you really think about it.
