BTW, I know the brushing sucks and doesn't match up, but I'm fooling around with blending renders now, which is what I want C + C on.

The text doesn't work well with the background and i just don't like the background that much nice idea around the border

yea not to big of a fan with the text. I liked the render alot. Nice job blending it into the bg.

its pretty good in my opinion, i like the first one better, and i think the text is fine imo

I like the orange one better. Anywho, you could mess with it more.

The first one is good. I like how the render fits in, but I think you should lower the outer glow opacity on the text.

Thanks for the C + C guys! Well, except for what deadloader said, I said that I knew the bg was crap, and I wanted C + C on the blending, and you come out here saying how much you dont like the bg. Shame, shame shall cross your name!

Updated it, I was originally trying to use this for practice on blending renders, but I kinda like this one.

I don't really like a yellow inner|outer glow. Maybe a lighter brown would look nice. Everything else looks pretty good.

yet another update, thanks Unearth, that had a nice effect.

i still think that text kills it, maybe try a diff font all together? and try to blend it? i also dont like the border at all. 1 px black should do fine.

Yea I was just about to change the border.
Should I stick to the graffitti text or change the style alltogether?

i no this is about godsquads sig, but dam -Kanji- u got a killer sig :P

lol thanks... just did it not so long ago actually... anyway GS. The popout changes arer a negative...keep it to a traditional sig for now. I do like that ttext alil better but again id take that outer glow either off or with a diff color, an try to blend that text. Why not try to use a chinese or japanese looking font to coincide with the symbols? anywho keep at it.

There is no focal point on the text without the glow.
And you got any suggestions on howto blend the text?
Oh and I thought that text was chinese looking, thats why I picked it.

there are always many ways to do one thing. on blending texts, mess with the usual color overlays, gradients, strokes, shadows etc etc. Then mess with opacities and fills. Then if that fails theres always the blending modes that u can use...try em all. ;) lol and no ur font doesnt really relate to the symbols :blink: :P
