btw, the only postwork was a curves layer and a text layer in ps ;)

Looks good, I like the second version more. One thing though: the sides are totally plain, would look nice with some texture there.

theyre not actually, its just the fog, you want a version without fog

version w/o fog
version w/ water

thats cool....like the second better looks kinda like blue mist. :D

Second one i would enter, it blends much better.

Add in water right up to the grass, with no sort of environment. That would be so awesome.

i think you should make this look like an ancient pathways or something, do some vines and stuff growing in photoshop, put water in between the squares. That would be freaking awesome. Make the sides a stone texture, kinda like ancient building. The fog thing isn't working for me, sorry, just no atmosphere or realism. Makes it look kinda noob if you ask me. . .

i got... about 6 more versions, ill put em up when i can b bothered

i did, one with water halfway, one with it full, one with fog and a special thing, and i did the special thing on the other 2 as well

and i cant put a stone texture on, it would just look like... grey.. lol, only full colors, plus im too bored

oh and im not doing vines, cause im not that good in ps lol

Yeah man, the water is terribly cool with it :D

I think it is an good idea to put an topic in the tutorial topic with Terragen so everyone can put there tuts from it, Terragen is not so simple so it could be an nice idea :D :P

Put a little more waves into it...And take out that fog! Heh.

Once I get my computer up and running I will give this contest a go, too. I have some ideas...
