I'm quite proud of this piece. The whole space scene, except the planets, are painted with 1-5 px round brushes in Photoshop. I took a look at ColdFlame1987's new tutorial and got this idea. I have never painted anything with mouse (or tablet, hehe), so this was a success for me, hehe. I feel I have improved as an artist when painting this scene, and it will be the technique I will use from now on. :)

Nope, I don't have a tablet. Everything is done with mouse. xP I need some money so I can buy a Wacom..

thats pretty crazy man, i like how the planet can actually be seen, on many works like this, the planet is only partially seen, but with yours you get the whole thing, rather than a slice witha lot of black behind it. looks great, keep it up.

Don't give up, even if you lose your inspiration. :P Or at least take a break and continue the next day or a couple hours later. This piece took me around 15 hours to paint, without any breaks except food and sleep. :P

wtf rabie i hate u it took me to make some good spacescene by normally way whole afternoon , and u just sit to computer and draw it at all by 1-5px basic brushes !!!!! OMFG how ure doin that??!!!! :blink: :lol:

Well, uhm, I have plenty of patience, I guess that's why I'm able to create stuff that takes pretty long to finish. I have also been doing pixel art, difficult scetches and stuff that takes forever to do.

Pixel art is SO INCREDIBLY HARD , may the angel of patience be on ur shoulder ^_^. But all puns aside that is some cool stuff you've got there! were did the planets come from though?

The planets where of course made by me, but they aren't painted. They are made with textures made by me in resolution 3500x3500. And I didn't use pixel-by-pixel technique (pixelart), I painted it, just like I would have done with real brushes on a canvas. :) I used 1 pixel-sized brushes though, but that doesn't make it pixel art, hehe.

I used big brushes for the base painting, like 300 px, just to get some colors. And of course I made some exceptions here and there, it's stupid to paint ONLY with tiny brushes, but it wouldn't even get half as good as it is now if I had used bigger brushes too often.

Hehe, no, I'm not selling any prints. I guess I will get a print account on DeviantArt when I get more aknowledged on DA in the future (if that's ever gonna happen). Thanks for asking though, never got that question before. :P
