alright i voted for deadloaders, i must admit storms choice of colors for it is very nice...but then again its just a pixel streatch with black brushes on top of it, and again...the reallly fucking disguisting border, u kno if the border wasnt there on stormz i prolly wud have voted for that...
as for dead's the brushing is verry noobish but everything corresponds well the colors and even the render blends due to the color scheme, plus a unique border to top that off
I put 2 custom barrels on that gun too.

Storms border is huge, the background is pixel stretch and the barrel looks out of place.
Deadloaders sig is only fractals which makes it rather ugly, the border is messed up as well.
Voted for deadloader's because Storm's was almost completely taken up by his border. Also, his entire border has another 1px black border around it, except for the left side which looks kind of odd.
Deadloader's looks pretty good... the render and the background go together nicely. The border's a bit obtrusive, and I don't like the text. You can't read it at all without putting your face a few inches away from your monitor :P. Otherwise it's really good.

And that border is what is called a "Tech border" and its not just little lines, I had to custom make it with like, 2 difrent layers, then line them up, add the same layer style and then make it so it all blendid in with the pixel stretch and the gradient over it, AND THEN i added the render, faded the edges, added custom holes and the reason the barrel looks like its facing right is beacuse its on top of the the white line, its a illusion to your eyes, your brain is telling you one thing but your eyes are telling you another. Thats why at first glance it looks good but the more you look at it the more your brain adjusts it so it makes since.

Eh, DB probably think's it's overused and doesn't take much talent. I on the other hand believe that it doesn't matter how something's done, but rather all that matters is what the end result is. You could spend 20+ hours working on a signature, and if somebody whipped something up in 5 minutes using filters, "noobish" styles, common renders, etc, and I'd still vote for him if it looked better.Quote:
