Little bit based on Heaven Knows. :)

Looks really realistic, Only thing i would change is how close that planet is to the earth, it makes it look unrealistic.
I love this piece so much! It looks so real, and most space scenes have a terragen base. The base shadow looks ao good. And I like the way you did the sun.
It's very good, except for a few small things. The planets stand out too much, they don't really blend in with the rest of the pictire, and the stars with the X's look kind of out of place. Other then that, awesome job and great blending.
ever heard of sky>space transition? or even atmosphere?
thats what your missing
I took that photo on a planet without atmosphere. :P
Then nothing would be able to grow there.
The planets wouldn't be that visible through the atmosphere, since it's so close to a great light source. If you look at the other planets, you see that the atmosphere is glowing. It's because the atmosphere reacts with the light, but not the planet's surface.
Also, you have slammed tons of cloud-textured brushes over the whole image. That's what makes it look too much. Try something more calm. The ground is very blurred. If it was sharper, it would probably lift the picture a bit. The X-stars are also wrong since the flare thingy on the big one is different.
Come on, I know you can do better than this. >;] And btw, try different colors next time. You've used this color twice in a row, we don't want it to get boring.
Edit: I also wonder why it's night at the planet you're standing on. The light source is stronger than the sun. :S
Supposed to be an explosion, the ending of a star. :P That's also why there are some ''X-stars'' And The light hasn't reached the earth yet... well yea... It's not a very realistic picture... :P
The reason why I mostly use orange, is because you can do the most things with orange, you can mix it with: red, yellow, green, purple etc. It's also my favourite colour.
Maybe I should make the background, excluding the explosion to make it more realistic.
Uhm, if the light hasn't reached the planet, you wouldn't be able to see the explosion at all and the other planets wouldn't have lighting on them.

That's like the most unrealistic picture ever! :o Congratz0r!
Nah, but that was a pretty bad explanation. It should be day on the planet, if you haven't painted the ground with black color.
rabies...just like go make your own planet out in space somewhere where all of your explanations make sense lol...nah jk man godinevil you never cease to amaze me.
I actually like the fact that it didn't look like there's an atmosphere... It adds to the overall effect of the image. The planets though need to be blended...
I don't see it. it doesnt' work for me...
I think this is better. :P

MUCH better
but REALLY dodgy/weird pic at bottom :/
Do you think I should keep the landscape black?
yeah, altho that is more realistic, it doesnt look good
:/
Very nice, I love the originality. Keep up the good work, the power lines could have been blended a bit better though.
the power lines in the distance should be shaper * not fading into the bg especially if there is no atmosphere... & that large planet to the landscape irratates me its ummm... too much in the foreground...
uhmm... On the photo I used the powerlines where already faded away, because of the distance. :huh:Quote:

use the sharpen brush (hold in the blurr/smudge button if you dont know) or you could manipulate the larger sharper ones...Quote:

:) good work
