link , updates on right, and site title are unreadable ......
I would make links light grey, and give them mb white hover state or sumthin to light it up.... Updates more lighter than theyre, and title much bigger and some really light shadow....
at all : i think it looks nice, but i really dont like using brushes in layouts, IMO it looks unprofessional ( i dont say im professional lol ) and its unnoticed....
Edit : make text smaller
Even though i can understand most of that, an English version would be helpful.
Nice but font title is almost unreadable, (ik ben blij dat ik nederlands ben, dan is de site een stuk duidelijker) :P
i agree on the font stuff so unreadable... if you gonna use that in future and content would get longer and you have to use frames which would be gay anyways it's good.. i think
Are there more people that want to drill my site totally in to the ground?
Does nobody looks to the brushing or something? Only iew, that text is thick fatt, ugly and unreadable?
Man...bas***** except dick, he gave same good advice :')
And btw, I can read it, do you guys need glaces?
Its pretty cool..There is a problem with the layout. Go to the bottom and go to the word "Trademark" and you will see it, its like out of place too high.
I like the old version better tho, but gj
Very nice, the navagation text is hard to read
Okay, before you start getting your knickers in a knot because of some bad criticism, how about you actually look at it for yourself and figure out whats wrong, or dont have a go at us because we tell you whats wrong.
First off, the menu text is absolutely horrid and totally conflicts with the style of site, it's also too large. Not to mention you should get a proper host instead of freewebs due to restrictions.
The idea of a background content area image is totally useless, theres no reason to it, it just makes content text harder to read and totally takes focus off everything else.
Also, the whole monochromatic style isn't working at all and is totally dull and boring.
And on a final note, try getting your whole site content finished before asking for advice on it, and next time you get some harsh critisicm, dont be an ass about it, take it and use it.

wewt thx im happy that i helped :D :)
yeah pleymo, its good but its not professional, you cant read anything, and really you want neutral/pastel colors for a website, not black.
and spekta, i know you may want to tell him whats right, but thats no way to go about it, especially when we have younger people here who might be offended by that
The text in the banner is hard to read, the content area should be black, that may improve it a bit, I think spekta was a bit harsh telling it like it is but you do need stop taking bad critisism to heart, use it to improve your work. I had to delete some of the swearing in spekta's post as it was a bit strong for the younger members of the community.
make the navigation bar more visible
well before everyone jumps on me for being harsh too, i'm in university and just finished advanced web design last semester so it kills me to see layouts like this so i couldn't help but comment although i will try to be helpful.
first off, the number one priority when making a website layout is to ensure that people will be able to view the content on your site and easily read the text since thats all a website is, a medium for sharing your message/ideas with the world. but if someone sees your site and immediately can't read the text because its black on a grey/black brushed background then chances are they won't continue looking at your site and move on.
and as for the size of text, the main title or header should be the largest since it is the first thing a person should read as they enter your site.
the home page itself should outline the purpose of your website and have easy navigation to the rest of the content on your site. you seem to have done that part well with the nav bar along the top and the update menu down the side.
another suggestion would be to resize the size of the pages so there is no unneccesary scrolling, like where the page scrolls through empty space just to have the copyright bar at the bottom. my resolution is at 1024x768 and the front page still doesn't fit on my screen entirely so i'm sure someone viewing your site at 800x600 would have a harder time navigating your site. remember to keep in mind that other people will be viewing your site at different screen resolutions and with different browsers.
oh and i know that Deap already pointed this out but the frame sizing needs to be adjusted too but thats a minor mistake, just be sure to have a look through your site and make sure its polished before you present it.
make some minor adjustments and colour changes and this would be a decent layout.
Hate it when peopple say "rabieshund style" rabieshund is a damned good artist but thats because he is unique and doesn't copy other people, try your own style and people may try and copy you but at least your original. Gave critique 2 posts ago just giving my 2 cents this time.
Its odd how "Home, about me, artwork, contact" are in english, while the writing is not
sorry to say but "eww"
look nice.....but slice the navigation buttons better :P
and the navigation bar is in the english but the main content and the updates are in dutch
(ik ben nederlands dus ik kan ut wel lezen :P )
