thanx :)
it looks nice. like the way u made the light shine in from the upper left side,
however. the river part to the lower left side, the white part. it is so white that it doesn't really look like part of the river.
i think this one is the best ! im going to vote for you ! Im proud on you ;) :D Great work !
Make the horizontal white lines you used as a frame thinner and it will look better. Good luck in the competition. Everyone else please give their 2 cents to this piece because the deadline is 9pm tonight and he needs your help.
wow :D that's awesome but the white border is too strong.
How did you get these sunrays? :D
ever heard of high qual?
i guess its ok, the clouds look a bit fake, and i cant tell if theres even any textures on the land
and everyone who wanted sunrays, you make a high alt cloudscape, then reasonably thick clouds, but small ones with a good strong sun power, if you look on some tg websites you will find plenty of tuts ;)
it's not great but i can't do any better with terragen so meh, the change between light and dark on the top of the sunray looks fake because it's rather abrupt it's unusual in that the cloud doesn't cover the sky that much with that amount of light but it doesn't look realistic by any costs, the river and mountains look fine though :P
He just burned the rest of the area in photoshop.Quote:

no its actually possible and quite easy to get the in tg, tho the clouds look really bad when you do
:)

Well I woke up to late to update this for the comp... but i used a few tuts in terragen to create the sunrays & made the clouds look quite crappy... so i did a slight blur to attempt to make them look better but it appears as though i didn't erase it on the land explaining the low quality...
Oh, I created the lanscape map in photoshop & imported into terragen... so thats how i got my river... I'd have no idea in hell how to do it in terragen...
thanx for your comments guys :)
i think it looks really good...only thing i can see that looks weird is how light it is in the sunlight, and then right next to it is almost pitch black...maybe try to still keep that part dark, but as u get closer to the sunlight, have it become a little less dark. but overall wonderful job. Like the name too :)
