i'm newbie!!.. i know PS 5 years..but i'm beginning to explore it just for the last 1.5 years.. this is my first ever doing retouching a black n white photo, and for the sellotape effects is made by an accident B)
i'd like to make a tut for it, but i have a lot to do now, i 'm actually a programmer... the deadlines make me crazy.. :blink:

I've never seen anyone do anything like that. That's good work, and I like the bright colors you used. The tape looks realistic too.
I've done some colourizing myself latley, and this picture is really well done. The colors looks great and realistic, Really, a great job :lol: I'll give you a 9+/10

here's a little bit tut of my work..
for coloring pics .. just playing with layer, hue/saturation and be patien to use selection tool ..
for the tape.. just playing around with layer (i need 2 layers), eraser brush, opacity n stroke..
sorry i can't make complete tut.. bussy!.. :rolleyes:

OMG man that's nice! But it could be done by taking a colored pic, and desaturating it, but i'll give ya the bennifit of the doubt. Anyways, how did you do the tape?
like i said.. i made the tape effect by an accident.. :D
so i have little memory about how to make it :D
first, make a box fill with white and give stroke size=1, set the fill opacity to make it looks transparent, give rough pattern to the stroke, drop a little shadow, duplicate this layer, select the top layer and try to erase the box in some point to make (looks like) rough terrain....

Man I went trough all this trouble with signing up an everything just to tell you that your tut is AWSOME.
Just yesterday I tried doing something like that and gave up after a minute but man your tape effect is just amazing!!!

i can't wait to make another design/work of art.. but i can't spent my time to do it, coz i must work hard to finishing my projects (programming) at my office... hh.. <_<
