maybe ideas on colours for the bg
yeah its really good, i love the game. good render, besides its a bit blurry
maybe you should splash a bit of red here and there, seeing that kratos' (the main character) colours are red and white
yeah thats because i had to enlarge the image cos it was tiny to begin with. dont have the game yet but will be getting soooooon :D
yea the render is very blury and the bg needs some color in it. but nice job though man
Yeh i like that, really like what uve done with the background. :) i think some bold hints of red could be added? but yeh real cool
i would make it a bit smaller, hey spikee havnt i seen u somewhere before ?
er......i unno
Seems kinda, blurry and big. Make is clearer, and smaller. Then add a color balance or 2.
-UPDATE-
change of render for a sharper one
I know there is no colour, Yet
BIG

SMALL

I would prefer not making it pop-out and make a smaller bg.....and just do a couple color balances with clouds for coloring.
Move the 2nd smaller versions render to the front of your background layer. The side of his pant leg rip is right inside the image background and it looks to have blurred effects or something of the sort. I'd also add a border around the background image, and with the render moved up a layer it'd lay over it. Add some color and text, then blend in the render better based on the color scheme you choose for the background. The render you chose for the current version is much better than the enlarged one you originally had, and I like the new smaller version much better.
whats wit all the pop outs latley? alot of people have been doing them. i think you should make this a regular sig. all u need is to clear up ur first render u had blend it in to the bg and use a color balance or 2 and you should be golden!
ok ill make it a reguar sig
i agree, i havnt seen pop out sigs till i joined up here they look a bit weird, but i have to say i like the one that bigfatguy6969 is using as his current siggy
ok in the end i went for a small pop out because i really like the render and i couldnt fit it on a regular sig without cutting too much of it off. I also went with some colour balances like you said so here:
could i have some c & c on the text cos i suck at text

u need to blend that render m8, use the eraser tool with a low strength or use the polygon lasso tool at 10 feather and make selections around the render then hit delete to blend it in some
if i select the render and press delete, i lose render, no?
AHH I GET IT, doing it now
dont slect around the render...
umm make small selections next to the render not actually around it do u kno what im talkin about?!
is this right?

i think u got the right idea but u did it way 2 much, try to fix that and try to just get the edges of the render
What have you done dude? The render is like at half opacity. Bring it back up.
Change the render... this one isn't really working. The bg is bland, and the color is wierd. The spikee text is kinda blane.
The whole sig dosent really match.
Thanks alot! Lol. You can call me Bfg.Quote:

i like all the work you've put into this. its cool to see the improvements as i read along.
ok heres my 2 cents.
first make your sig background smaller. you can keep your popout, it'll actually popout a little more, but i think you have too much unused space. I like your bushing and all, but its still only brushing. you can cut that size down a whole lot and still have it look good.
second. HS said it already, the render is way too blended. i didnt mind it the way it was before the blending, but the colour scheme was off. try desaturating your render and just using the colour balance layer as your scheme. the purple doesnt seem to fit in there.
and finally your text. Poor placement and I cant hardly read it. try a new font and definitely find a new spot for it. the bottom right corner is always a safe place for your name. a new font is necessary in my opinion though. and make it stand out, just a little bit more.
ok hope i could be of some help. good start.
For blending the render make a selection around it with lasso tool and feather of 10 px. Then go to Select>Inverse and then hit delete once or twice or whatever. And I still think you should make the bg smaller. :P
update of the update
still not sure about the text/font but tabloid's advice helped me alot (cheers man) and this is what came up.
smaller bg, blended render, new font(still not sure)
