    well my computer really sucks.

    im not a computer wizard so i don't know much about that^^
    could someone tell me if that is slow and crappy?



    well any ways, when i got it about a year ago it was running ok. and now it just wont do anything, i open photoshop; my computer freezes.
    i even try to copy a cd into my computer and it freezes
    i need help.
    i have de fragged, virus scanned, spy wear everything, nothing is working
    i was thinking of reformatting and i want to your your view on reformatting before i do.

    and i don't have anything on my computer i care about losing, i have backed up everything i need and i can re download free stuff.

    Wahh!! you only have 11Mb free of 128Mbs physical memory!!!
    How much programs do you have on at the same time?!?!?!?!

    and i want to know if i should buy a new computer or if maybe buying more ram (if possible ) would be better solution?

    umm... you know.. RAM.. you should have more than 11 Mb free space of ram...
    Press CTRL - SHIFT - ESC and the process window should popup.
    Look in the tab "Processes" and tehre should be all the processes you have on.

    sounds like you need a ram upgrade to me... 128 mb or ram won't cut it, i have 512 mb of ram on my computer with similar specs as yours and i can run multiple programs with ease.

    Is this the same computer you do your Illistrator and Photoshop workings in?

    Or has it just recently just started doing all this freezing in PS.

    Did you download any suspecious content recently?

    Edit/
    I got 2x 512 DDR Sticks when I built my box back a few months ago, I believe the RAM ran me about 199.00 for premium quality sticks.

    What kind of computer do you have and how old is it? It might be worth it to buy a brand new computer rather than upgrade, which is true in many searios and cases.

    my grandma won it at BINGO 2 years ago and she has no use for it so she gave it to me
