well i went to reformat my computer and i did so.
but turns out my windows xp key is ivalid so i installed 98
its going slow and i cant have my colors settings past 256 wich kinda sucks.

i have gaven up all hope about buying a new mp3 player and am now saving to buy a new computer.

i will still try and be ative but i dont think i will be getting any work done untill i get my new computer, well maybe paint .

Linux is amazing! The only problem it has in incompatability with many games, which is fading away because the majority of "techy" people who are designing these games are using linux.

dude, use my xp key, u can install service pack 2 under it and windows updates, illt each u how to disable the genuine check so that u can get em all k?

I won't even bother ranting about this one.

As for linux:

I used linux for a long time, and still do for my media center box (vector linux SOHO). The only problem I have with linux is software compatibility. And it's not really linux's fault. Photoshop and Illustrator won't run natively (you have to use VMWare or in some cases you can get it to work with WineX). that's why I'm still using Windows.

If you aren't going to be using Adobe products then there is no reason not to use linux.

you know, if your computer is running so crappy you might want to try and update some of your drivers... thats just my suggestion.
