this one of the weirdest problems ive ever had... if i download a movie (with dc++) thats split up in 2 peices (cd1 cd2) the second file wont work. i can view about half of it with aviPreview or VLC player but that just makes it alot more annoying since i cant see the ending. i've tried downloading new codecs and it may be a codec problem since when i installed the new codec pack some of my old ones couldn't be deleted/exchanged. would appreciate some help.

That's odd....well, i suggest doing a google search for lazy man's guide to ogg media, and mkv while you're at it. Follow the instructions on those page, and i know they're not specifically for your problem, but they fixed it when i had a problem like that one. Also, download tcmp (the core media player) from corecoded.com <it's my favorite new player, very VERY promising.

It does taht to me a few times, i just restart it (tcmp) and play it again. Tcmp is nice cuz it has a now playing list i'm pretty sure, and it doesn't erase unless you tell it to.
