Been making a design for my portfolio, not sure if its worth working on.
Link
The spikey abstract star is like me sorta logo. Used it in a lot of art.

scanlines galore xD. nice design. i like the reflection of the sky.
DONT talk if you have NOTHING good to say.

Scanlines seemed to work ok. gave it a bit of texture.

Dude it is called compressing your images. I have cable and it still took almost a min to load. Nice job btw.
-
Took 20 seconds with me, its because imageshack is slow and sucks ass.
-
very nice my only suggestion would be set the opacity on the scanlines on the banner a litte lower
-
Eh, too much scanlines. And it is decent, i like what you did with banner, but that's like all it is. And that is a much whored design. STill decent i guess, but i have seen better from you man.
If you want help...
Screw you
If you make sigs...
Screw you

Yeah, the scanlines are too visible. Lower the opacity, and maybe add a layer mask to some and make them fade in using a graident. I think you should change the "Catalyst" font as well. Nice work though, looks professional.

I'd say remove the scanlines for the bright background. It's just disturbing to read when it's full of scanlines everywhere. Gives me headache while watching for too long. :P I would remove them all, but that's just me. You could lower the opacity, like Twan said. I like the clean design, good job.

I definitely agree with the others on the fact that you should remove your scanlines. You should only leave them on top of the banner. The layout already has a clean feel to it. If you removed the scanlines it would look even cleaner. Nice job on the layout!
