    Its a little on the plain side and the render sticks out majorly.

    It's alright, but stick to Vermilion's feedback and you'll do just fine.

    modified is much better but sill maybe a little more feathering around his arms. looks nice though.

    its nice, but the brushing needs depth, add a levels layer, and a contrast layer, make the bg have more depth, also, the blending on the render is kinda half-assed... for that style of sig, i would just get ur lasso tool, select one pixel in form the edge of the render, feather it with 3 pix, and delete

    Modified one looks much better. The render still sticks out, I'd say work on some of the background brushing. Keep working on it.
