    Well, Whatd I expect for $300? No fucking idea, but Ive been looking into pimpin my pc for xmas and well, frankly i dont know shit about computers (harware) so if anyone could tell me what the best possible hardware upgrade could be? perhaps within $200

    Well..I know how it feels to be on a shitty computer because mine broke down and I've been on my sister's old one for the past few weeks.

    I don't know that much about computers either but it might help if you post your current computer specs.

    To get Basic specs right click on "My Computer" icon and click properties...

    Then you can click on the "Hardware" tab click "Device Manager" and it will list all your shitz.


    What are you current specs?

    CPU?
    RAM?
    Video Card?
    HDD?
    Sound Card?
    CD/DVD Drives?

    And these sites have good prices on comp stuff.

    www.tigerdirect.com ....pretty good prices......usualy pretty slow shipping.
    www.newegg.com .......Good prices.... good shipping
    www.ebuyer.com ........Okay prices not the best site.......okay shipping

    not always the case. your best bet on getting ur specs other then installing somesort of benchmark program is to go:
    start>run and type in dxdiag

    killer, thats not crappy at all i think :blink: for 300$

    all you need is more ram and perhaps(??) a new video card, i havent ever even heard of a generic cisnet.

    ive got the same soundcard btw. :P
