    I've had it as my avatar since I joined up, but never bothered to get it commented upon.
    So....any comments?
    (I only had access to Photoshop Elements when I made this, just f.y.i.)

    It's not a bad idea, but the border is way too dominant. Maybe if you made it a glass border, or something along those lines it would look much more smooth. I love the idea though. Work with it and see what you can get.

    Thanks, I do need to work on my borders a bit.

    The easiest way to do a border is to finish your sig and merge it all into one layer, then put a 1px black stroke around it.

    Yeah, or make a new layer over everything, go to Select>All (Ctrl+A) and then go to Edit>Stroke and choose 1 pxl, black color, inside. Then if you want to spice it up some more, go to blending options and choose stroke, make it white, 1 pxl and set it to overlay and lower the opacity. Soft Light works too. Just play with it and find something that works.
