that's pretty damn good, not even close to rabieshund's space art... but hey, still good in it's own right

If everyone cared and nobody cried...
If everyone loved and nobody lied...
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride...
Then we'd see the day that nobody died...

All the planets look exactly the same, and they don't really resemble planets, more just a bunch of orbs. The galaxies are cool, but tone down the opacity on the star brushing, it sticks out too much. Other than that the blue thing in the middle kind of throws me off, but good job for a first try.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T USE MY PLANET TUTORIAL!!
    It sucks.

Anyways, the mistake most beginner space artist does is to make the scene way to crowded. I think this one is just about to cross that line, but it doesn't since you didn't throw in a huge galaxy or something there. ;P
The first thing I reacted on was that the planets shading are all in the same direction, while the lightsource is in the middle. It doesn't make sense, the shadows should all be ponting AWAY from the light!
It looks a bit like you took that nebula and copied it four times. I know you didn't, but they look pretty much the same, which gives that effect on the viewer.

Though, it is really great to see some space art at the forum. I hope you try to make another! You will improve alot and all ways and it's fun to see more space art on the forum. i can give you some tips via PM of you like too.
