def with the curves layer, i think so at least. but a little to plain for me. not your best, but of course, not your worst :P maybe a little more contrast in the bg. not toooo much, but some.

yea the curves one is more appealing i think. not bad, not the best. dont like the lines too much on the side. and maybe try some different fonts haha ares was my old name :P
I'd say first one for me, doesn't hurt my eyes as much. Maybe put some black brushing in the background or something to give it flavor, other than that nice job.
