Good job! The second sig is a little too sharp, but the color balance is better than the first which is a bit too dark and blurry. But I do like the faded fresco finish to it in general. If you softened up the second a bit more, overall it would be much better. The font is a good choice, althou I think placed wrong and too small, maybe left middle and slightly bigger - possibly under those stars as well to draw it more into the sig rather than appearing just placed over the whole heap.
Don't know for sure how this would fit but I'd suggest, maybe a soft-light text layer with some inner-shadow to make it look carved into the wall might be something worth trying...
There is a grey triangle bit down the bottom right, not sure if its the tip of a shield or whatever but it looks wrong and out of place now - but I'm sure you could blend or fade that out as well.
Otherwise, nice piece of work well brought together.
Ahh...the whored smudge effect. I'd take the second one, put it over the first one and set it to soft light or something. Maybe blur it too. Nice work.
