Well, always when im on my computer, when i try to log on to check my e-mail, or register for many sites, i get the problem that the page can not be displayed. I know its because of internet security problems that i have, because when i go downstairs on that computer, it works perfectly fine.

    Any help?

Open up your Internet Security program's setting, and see what programs are permitted to access the internet, and on what level.
Obviously you can access the internet, but your browser might not be on a high enough level to be able to send encrypted information over a connection.

Have you tried restarting? Restarting the computer to clear your System Cache/TMP files helps sometimes. Also gets rid of session cookies.

Have you tried scanning for Spyware? Ad-Aware SE 1.6 is a great tool for that, which I'm sure you already knew. Just run a scan if you haven't lately. Maybe you've been infected with a Browser Hijacker.

If none of this does anything, let me know and I'll see what else I can do for you.

    This is a firewall problem.
Look on your firewall settings for a AD Blocker or some like that and if it is on turn it off...and if thats not the problem go into your fire wall allowed programs and make sure you have Microsoft Internet Explorer & Microsoft Generic Host Process For Win32 Services set to"permit all".
And if thats not the problem get a different firewall cause zonealarm is .
Private message me for my msnmsgr for more on correctly setting your firewall up and we will fix this to.
