I was playing around with PS untill about 8:30 am and came up with this. I kinda like it, but not sure if I should make it my sig.
Any comments and/or suggests are appreciated.
PS: this is my 3rd sig here, first is current one, and 2nd is in SOTW #39 I think.

maybe see if you can fit all the text onto the red area, insted of having it animate, and the try to blend and smooth out the render a little, other then that it lookws pretty cool IMO.
.

looks good but the edges look a little to rough and unneat imo

Ok thanks for the advice. I'm all self taught with PS, so, still learning.

Use backgrounds that contain brushing because at the moment the scanlines dont cover up that it's just clouds. Other than that its a nice idea.

Aren't we all?

Looks like I will have to go learn more about brushes now. I have kinda avoided doing to much with them for now because I haven't learned them yet. But since I'm here, I may as well learn.
Edit: I had forgotten to save it as a .psd so that background is lost, but i remade it and it actually turned out better, in my opinion. I also removed the animated text and just had it all show up all the time. How does it look now?

Here we go, I think I am finally finished with it. I removed the quote cuz its just too long to have without adnimation between each line. I had an idea to make each line fade in, have some cool effect like how the title for "the saw" i think it is, but that was way too many frames. so here is what I ended up with.

You can still see the edges of the sig where it cuts off pretty easily- but I love the idea.

Ok first things first, go to deviantart.com and get some decent brushes. This is a cool lookin sig but it could be much better. Maybe instead of putting the render on top you should try desaturating it and putting it below your color balance layer. Don't know if it will look good but its just an idea. Now I know since you are a noob at ps that you won't understand this but if you have confusion plz pm me with your msn. To blend the render you should have a layer mask on the layer on the render and brush black with a soft grunge brush onto the layer mask where the edges of the render is. It will blend the render at least a little bit. I also recomend checking out some of the great sig tuts in the sig tuts section of course, or go to codedfx or chaosgfx for some more advanced tuts that might be a bit hard to follow, but will give you great results. Anyways sorry for the long reply m8.
