Well, we went skiing with our school today. It was alot of fun :P
    for the most part
Then, i go to this jumper i had jumped from many times before. I was going quite fast, but still I jump a little too short, and my ski's bump on the edge of that thing, my other ski comes off and stays on top of the jumper, and I end up falling down on my neck/back with a frontflip kindof, and then rolled downhill about 5 -6 metres. I guess it had looked pretty bad cuz my friends were screaming like "Oh shit,He must have hurt something", though in finnish :P I think im quite lucky i didnt break any bones. for example, breaking your neck isnt cool.

i drew a little pic :P that guy is abit too big, it should be about ½ of that. and i did have the sticks too just didnt draw them

You slammed the knuckle on a table. Although it's not really a knuckle... but yeah, that's what you did. Nicely done. Everyone eats it at one time or another, one of the guys I work with at the ski resort broke his back last year on a booter.

As for the jump itself, if you had tucked alittle and pointed your tips at the last second you probably would have cleared the whole table.

Speed is your best friend when it comes to jumps, rails, or anything. I try to keep that in mind and I usually clear everything I hit.

table tops are the best jumps to start on, no matter their size. If you hit it short you're only going to be a foot off the deck. But if you short a booter you've got a good 5ft drop before you slam to the ground. Dragon, you just had the misfortone of pulling a yardsale.

dale: do it. snowboarding is so much fun. but in general only after you get better which is typically 2 or 3 days.
