A dear friend of mine lost a close relative today, and we had known it was going to happen for the last several. I got to work on this and worked on it piece by piece over the course of 4-5 hours and 2 days. Bland like my last one, but if anyone has tips on how I could 'liven' up my next one, i'd appriciate it.

No downloaded brushes, and only the 'Basic Brushes' pack

cant beleive no one commented on this. shame, shame on everyone :P

well its a good start, one thing you could do is add some colour, maybe try one of the 10 million multicolouring tutorials out there. i think it also needs more definition, more controll, more shape. it just seems to rubbery.

    good work though.

Yea, try using differernt layers and different areas of shapes aswell, that'll add quite alot of depth =)

Like... very light layers inderneath it all. Maybe some whispy / fractal looking layers ontop, light again, so the edges look nice.

    Sorry to hear

Reminds me of that thing kenny did a little while ago. It's pretty cool, but use a couple more layers of shading, they will go a long way.
