Hmm, I think the title of this topic is a little weird. It should be "Music that inspires". :P

We all love music, but do you listen to anything special when you paint/draw/being artistic/whatevva? I don't mean while designing a website, I mean when you try to get the right feeling to make something that means something to you. I mean art.

I usually listen to Sigur Rós while I paint. Calm and magical music that always fills me with inspiration. And if I want something more strange I listen to Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Both bands are kinda "abstract" in one way or another.

So, what do you listen to when you create art?

So you don't feel more or less inspired by certain genres/songs? Or is it on purpose, so that when death metal comes on, you make twisted and sick stuff and when japanese bubblegum pop comes on, you make everything pink with stars and stuff? :P
