    Got it from that planet tutorial so I thought to post my first try:

    thats great, the colouring is fantastic, and the outer glow fits it just right. but a bigger, higher res image would make it even better

    i like the coloring but only to an extent, the way you have it.. the planet looks a tad to flat, and it seems to blend in too much (color wise) with the stars. I suggest using much more contrasting colors, and leaving the stars monotone, or (in the case of nebulas) colored in patches.

    the planet looks like you just did a bevel. It isnt really spherical. spherize the texture a lil more. A bigger pic would make it look more dramatic tho... like the colors. But its a little too erm.... dark :P

    .. the lighting is ok the shadows are great&#33; not too dark and fits good it&#39;s nice for a frst one just not much going on..trust me just make a little more something to look at and you&#39;ll have a winner

    I was having the most problems with the backround but next time Ill try using sharpen filter on both the blanet and backround

    i thought it looked awesome i would make one of the moons look like its just comming around the planet it looks funny have 2 moons on the same side at the same time. just looks a little off. great job on a first try man
