BAckground is a little over the top for me and also a little bright compared to the foreground. Effect on the city lights is nice, how was it done? ( save me hours trying different methods to replicate in photoshop )

thanks, well the problem is that I blended the city too much and delete so many layers that I forgot how it was done and wasnt in my history anymore, thats why I cant fix the edges, I remember I used a lot of overlay ans soft light and wind effect and a desaturated layer, thats all I know :P

I agree with 2xsess, the background does seem a bit too much for the photo, but its pretty good considering its your first manip.

Remember that all you can do is improve ^^.

When you created this, what were you trying to do?

I think you tried to throw random stuff together, and thought it looked good.

There's no direction or purpose! Thats why this dosen't look good.

Chew on that, and see what you come up with next time. Good work... =)

I'm sorry, but this looks extremely unoriginal

Let me guess how you did it:

    1. You cut out the buildings in a city scene
    2. You rotate canvas
    3. You do filter-stylize-wind
    4. You rotate back
    5. You stick in some star picture in the back
    6. Along the way you did many layer blends and stuff to make it look bright and stuff

I kinda like the city part, but the stars just dont match. Maybe try plain black?

Next time, think of something more unique
