Work vs Prison

At work, you spend the majority of your time in a 6x8 cubicle.

In prison, you get three free meals a day.
At work, you only get a break for one meal and you pay for it.

In prison, you get time off for good behavior.
At work, you get more work for good behaviour.

In prison, the guard locks/unlocks and opens/closes all doors for you.
At work, you carry a security card around and open doors yourself.

In prison, you can watch TV and play games.
At work, you get fired for watching TV and playing games.

In prison, you get your own toilet.
At work, you have to share with some idiot who pees on the seat.


In prison, they allow your friends and family to visit.
At work, you can't even speak to your family on the phone.

In prison, the taxpayers pay all expenses with no work required.
At work, you get to pay all the expenses to go to work, and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

In prison, you must deal with sadistic wardens.
At work, they are called managers.

I would much rather go to work, just because I would feel safer at work. Prision would be kind of depressing, because your in a jaild area.

Well work you can leave at any time you please. Jail/prison you are stuck there and you can't leave until you have served your sentence. In a job if you don't like it you can just walk out and never look back. And prison is a life changing experience... I wouldn't want to get raped in my butt, I'd rather have some anul retentive boss than anul penetration.

Hey hey hey! I'm not saying prison is better than work (or even close, I don't think I'd like getting raped) but... I'm just stating some *similarities* =).

Anyways, your getting paid to sit in a little cubical - which is worth it I guess.

i choose work, skrew jail. i rather get paid, plus they have to work in jail sometimes. so i rather not spend the night at the place i work!

Yea, why would anyone ever want to go to jail. It's so damn depressing in those cages.

Work, however is good because you get paid, you can easily quit your job if you don't like it, and it's almost always 5 days a week. There are some jobs that may just, but some are very fun to do.

I just think that life would really suck if you went to jail, because you live in a cage with a jail mate, you could have a really mean warden, and you don't get paid.

I don`t know the system around where you are from.. but in my country (Norway), the rules are sick.
If you are in jail you get education for free, so if you spend some time there you may end up as a lawyer when you get out.

But the rest of us who`s on the right side of the law and are not blessed with a rich family who pays for us... we neads loans from a bank who we use many years to pay back.

The jails here are real good, you get your own room, with TV, PC, intenet.
But I would never go to jail to get a free education.

There are also some homeless alcoholics and drug addicts who do a minor crime just so they can have a vacation there... to get free food, haircut, medical help...
and some rest of course..
